Spending time in the craftroom

Yeah, do you think Nana will let me help her?

Nice sunny Sunday and I am working on cutting out my Joel Dewberry quilt I bought the kit about 2 years ago.  I love it but every time I look at the pattern Hip to be Square I think to myself maybe I do it later.  Well, I guess later is here.  I really want to make it.  It is just going to take time to cut it out.  12 different fabrics and lots of different cuts.  I'll get there just one cut at a time.

It's so fun to get the fabric all squared up and pressed just right.............

I love my craft room but sometimes I think I should lower the cutting table one notch.

And look I do use my long arm.  I drape my pieces all over it.  But if you look close you will see that I have a quilt part way loaded.  My stacked coin quilt is just about ready to quilt.  Who knows I might even do it myself or get my daughter to do it for me.

Took the new pan for a spin

Well I took the new pan for a spin on Saturday.  Had friends over for dinner and quilting.  Loved the new pan and of course the friends and quilting.  More on the quilting later.

And the new guys are here to be introduced.  Also a new cookbook for some new dinner ideas.  Can't wait to give them a run.
