It did it again "Snowed"

This is what I woke up to this morning.  It was so pretty and nice because it was gone by afternoon.

The trees were covered nicely.

And I even did a macro picture just for Christina.

My daughter Christina tagged me, here is my photo.  What a suprise, it's my beautiful grandson.  That boy is growing everyday and doing something new all the time.  We have a hard time keeping up with him.  But boy is it fun. 

What I've been up to

This is what I've been working on lately.  I bought Bronwyn Hayes book Cotton Country Quilt at the Buggy Barn.

I have been busy doing all my favorite stitcheries.

I'm going to frame them and hang them in my sewing room.  I have done a lot of stitcheries but not really very many that are red work.  It been fun using all one color.  

More christmas gift I can show now

This is an apron the I made for my dad's wife.  I love to sew for her as she is always so happy to have something homemade.  She uses everything that I make for her.  It is really nice to be appreciated.  

This is one of the aprons from A is for Apron.  It's the one from Erin House on Hill Road .  It was a fun quick one to make.

Finished project

This is a quilt that I made for my Aunt in Az it's light and air they don't need really warm quilts there.  I love the way it turned out.  I sewed it and my daughter quilted it on my long arm.  It's made from the Fresh Squeezed cake and charm pack. Little cutting but it was a bugger to quilt we just couldn't get it squared.

Of course had to have a little of the front on the back.
